Introducing Indie/Folk Singer/Songwriter Alexander Hulme…

Blending a wealth of influences from Ben Howard and Damien Rice to Noah Kahan and Hosier, Hulme crafts songs that are often genre defying and immersive.
Hailing from the North West UK, Hulme’s work as a songwriter and producer has earned him millions of streams as well as praise for his own work from icons like Paul McCartney, Janice Long and Billy Ocean.
A tour de force on stage, Hulme is a master of live looping and stage craft, with thousands of shows under his belt. He has a particular warmth and charisma that has the ability to silence rooms and captivate.
Often flowing between the raw power of his voice and intimate and beautiful guitar work, he often draws comparisons with Ben Howard, Jose Gonzales and Hosier. Hulme’s unique skill of crafting these two polar opposite energies makes him a stand out performer.
“I grew up watching amazing performers and songwriters like Foy Vance and Fionn Regan and I’ve always wanted to find a place between those two worlds,” says Hulme. “However my teenage love of the early Goo Goo Dolls‘ albums riveted a pop sensibility into my songwriting and vocal melodies - it can be an interesting skill set to juggle at times!”
With his most recent releases receiving strong support from BBC Introducing and local radio stations and with a wealth of new material on the horizon, Hulme is set to schedule his first headline tour showcasing his new material in 2026
